He was born in Thessaloniki in 1974 and studied Journalism at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
He has worked for many years in the newspapers "Kathimerini," "To Vima," and "Ta Nea," reviewing restaurants and covering the Ministry of Health. He is a multifaceted personality.
His adventurous spirit has led him to taste more than 200 Michelin stars, from San Francisco and Miami to Tokyo, Seoul and Taipei. He has also honoured street food in all the hidden corners of the globe, showcasing his diverse culinary experiences.
In 2011, he received the European Commission's EU Health Prize For Journalists, and in 2012, he received a scholarship from the US State Department for post-graduate training in Washington, D.C., and Miami.
