FNL Best Restaurant Awards 2025: The Stars of Athens

Starting this year, the presentation format for restaurants is changing to emphasise the concept of "good in its category" for one star.Restaurants will be categorised based on their ratings of 4, 3, and 2 stars, followed by those with one star, organised by cuisine type.

These are the 73 restaurants in Athens that have earned at least one star in the FNL Best Restaurant Awards 2025, as evaluated by the awards committee. None of these restaurants achieved the highest distinction of four stars, while five received three stars (with one earning the distinction for the first time). Additionally, 22 restaurants were rated with two stars (including two newcomers and six that earned their second star this year), and 46 were rated with one star (noting that five restaurants lost their star). Among the 73 awarded establishments, 18 are receiving a star for the first time (or regaining it), with 11 having opened last year, marked as Newcomers, while the remaining seven are labeled as New Entries.
