Christina Drangana
Born in 1989 in Lesini, Aetolia-Acarnania, her passion for food was sparked at the age of seven — in a rather memorable way. She famously stabbed a fork into her brother’s head after he snatched the last bite of her food. As she got older, she learned to control her impulses, and while studying English Literature, she also trained at a culinary school. After trying her hand in various professional kitchens—with limited success—she decided to pursue her true calling: feeding people and sharing her knowledge (and ignorance) of gastronomy.
Today, she works as a freelance certified guide specialising in gastronomy and manages the Athens branch of Eating Europe – Food Tours. She also curates music in friends’ bars while serving homemade pies, offers private pastry lessons through Traveling Spoon – Culinary Experiences, and writes about taste, music, and literature.
